Year 9 have the opportunity to undertake the Duke of Edinburgh Program at Glenaeon.
Each week, Year 9 students arrive early to volunteer their time assisting Class 3 students in 'one-on-one' and small-group reading sessions. This helps to improve their reading ability and literacy and is assisted by Class 3 teacher Katherine Arconati. It is a wonderful opportunity for both classes, as they form supportive relationships over the sessions, and Year 9 give their time and knowledge to support the younger students.
