This morning we opened the Middle Cove school gates to over 270 registered visitors who spent time exploring the campus, experiencing lessons, talking to teachers, students and parents; learning more about a Steiner education at Glenaeon - from our early childhood programs, to Primary school years and right through to senior High School, graduation and beyond - and just soaking in our beautiful bushland environment.

Showcase days like these are only made possible through the hard work of many, and I’d like to acknowledge and thank the entire teaching and professional services staff, under the direction and leadership of Kath Kissell and Sunita Shah, who made this morning possible. And to our students – it is you that our guests always speak so highly, and you that they take away in their hearts and minds. Thank you for the positivity and warmth you share.

Smooth Transitions

Starting a new school can have its challenges and so we take time to check in with families about how their children are settling in. Recent feedback about their first month at Glenaeon provide affirming messages for teachers and students and speak so very highly of our parent community. Thank you for creating a culture of which we can be justifiably proud. You can read just a few of the comments below:

‘[Our son] is absolutely thriving at Glenaeon. He comes home upbeat, excited with all the stories from the day and he has so many new friends and social activities, we are struggling to keep up. He's rediscovering his love for the arts and we're seeing his creative spark again. I can't tell you what a dramatic change it is and what a wonderful school you have.’

‘Thanks for checking in. [Our daughter] seems to have settled in well. Camp was a great experience and she seems to be making friends. Also enjoying classes and learning with different teachers. [We] enjoyed the parent/community events at the start of the year too.’
