So far, Term 2 has been filled with wonder and celebration at Glenaeon Preschool. Celebrating birthdays, Mother's Day and the glorious Autumn weather. Preparing Mother's Day gifts saw a great opportunity to practice fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and concentration. Park adventures have remained a favourite in our rhythm with running to 'Grandma Tree' to 'Brother Tree' and 'Park City'. Running is always optional, but provides a chance for movement and giggles. There has been lots of creations and building during indoor play and in prop story time the children learned a funny tale called The Giant Carrot about helping one another to pull a carrot out of the ground. In our garden playground, the slide always provides endless joy and laughter.
