Class 3 completed their Farming Main Lesson this week, with a weekend away to Mowbray Park farm, where they experienced sheep shearing, animal feeding, milking, whip-cracking and boomerang throwing, along with a lot of other outdoor farm fun! Lifetime shearer and farmer Blair, along with farm jackeroo Tanner, showed them with fun, flair and plenty of facts! Back in the classroom, they hand made herb oil, cheese, bread (and natural-dyed their own socks!), and finished with a beautiful Autumn Feast in the classroom.
