Class 1 draw 'form' drawings' each week - first they 'walk' the pattern outside, working with space, counting and understanding the shape of the pattern. They then move inside and draw the pattern, which correlates to their handwriting and letter-forming, as well as understanding of symmetry and left/right brain development. They have been bush-walking weekly, with teacher Sandra Frain joining in. She explains the wonders of the plants they encounter whilst they climb over rocks and explore the local bush reserves. They have also been making little treasure wonders out in the playground.
