Congratulations to Glenaeon chess players Maadi Prasad, Oscar Street and Keizo Tomishima who entered the Annual Secondary Schools Chess tournament on Tuesday December 3. The seven round Swiss tournament was hosted by The Scots College and thirty-eight teams from fifteen schools took part. The all-age competition was fierce but the boys played well, improving on their performance last year and placing 19th. Special mention goes to Maadi, with four wins and one draw out of the seven games he played.
